Fantastic Visit to Toronto
This entry was posted on January 10, 2006 and is filed under Holidays, Nivi, Canada.
We just returned from a really good trip to Toronto. What an
incredible city. Kannan and Sowmya were amazing hosts and they had a swell time
with Nivi. Ah, but the weather was freezing cold. Despite the extreme weather
we managed to visit the city’s hotspots - CN Tower and Niagara Falls. Standing on a glass floor at
the top of the tower was a weirdly eerie feeling. And the wind was just crazy. Niagara was frozen in most parts and the remaining
waterfall created a warm fog over it. Every where we went we tasted Tim Horton’s
coffee – which was sooo good.

It was amazing how Nivi quickly adapted to the sub-zero
temps and was just perfectly at home there. For the week long stay, Kannan and
Sowmya made such good food and were fully taking care of Nivi. Only, if Toronto was close by –
we’d drop her to their place often! We also became proud recipients of Canadian
PR. Now only if it was brrr there, we might just want to move there.

Overall, Toronto
was fun! We definitely would like to visit the city again. Next time maybe when
its summer and when the Niagara falls are
actually flowing…
